Wastewater treatment
Terra Water's treatment facilities provide customers with portable on-site wastewater handling, treatment, and disposal in one package. Our experience in the remote worksite environment in western Canada means Terra's equipment is built to industry-leading standards and operates in almost any environment.
The portable, self-contained treatment plants are built by Terra in-house and can be integrated seamlessly into new or existing camps and wellsite units. To ensure proper functioning and environmental protection, Terra's management system for each plant includes bi-weekly sampling and service visits by technical staff. Independent laboratory effluent testing is a key component of this program.
Terra Water markets 78 portable wastewater treatment plants that include extended aeration, rotating biological contact and the new sequential batch reactor designs. The plants are designed and sized to efficiently handle volume requirements that vary with the population on location. Each is self-contained and mounted on heavy duty skids to improve mobility. Terra will design and build treatment units for specific customer requirements.
With a focus on ease of operation, treated effluent quality and elimination of odors, Terra's treatment plants meet or exceed existing environmental, health and safety regulations for surface release of treated wastewater.
Terra Water has an industry-leading health, safety and environment (HSE) initiative called Target Zero which places a premium on safe working practices. When coupled with Precision's other training and employee initiatives, these programs consistently yield top-quality personnel for Terra Water who exceed industry safety standards and customer expectations.
